Air Fryer Pork Loin

This Air Fryer Pork Loin is perfect for Sunday dinner or a holiday meal. The pork roast gets cooked perfectly while staying juicy and tender. Slice it and serve with a salad, steamed veggies, or your choice of side dishes.

This recipe takes all the guesswork out of cooking pork. Pork is so easy to overcook and the air fryer keeps the pork loin juicy and moist without a marinade to boot.

I’m convinced the air fryer can cook almost anything with delicious results! Pork loins are also less expensive than beef and easy to find.

Why You Need This Recipe

  • It’s just so simple! If ever a recipe were low maintenance this one is it. Simply rub on the oil and the seasonings then cook and let it rest (the hardest part).
  • It’s done in 40 minutes. Serve alongside steamed broccoli and white rice or potatoes for a quick and simple dinner. You can serve it with nearly anything. See my entire index of 30 minute meals if you are really pressed for time.
  • This pork loin is naturally gluten-free and dairy-free. Since the pork loin isn’t pre-seasoned or marinated, you don’t have to worry about sneaky ingredients.

Key Ingredients

Boneless pork loin roast is a mild, lean cut of pork that’s slightly larger than the pork tenderloin. It’s readily available and high in protein. Look for it in the butcher section of your grocery store.

Olive oil helps all the seasonings adhere to the pork and also aids in a crispy exterior.

Seasonings including sea salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder give this roast tons of flavor with little effort.

Recipe Steps

Step One

Pat the pork loin dry with paper towels and then rub the oil on both sides of it.

Step Two

In a small bowl, combine all the seasonings and sprinkle the mixture on both sides of the pork loin.

Please see the recipe card at the end of this post for the exact ingredients and measurements.

Step Three

Place the pork loin inside the air fryer basket and set the temperature to 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes.

Step Four

After 10 minutes use tongs to turn the pork loin over and cook for another 12 minutes.

Step Five

Once the cooking time is up use an instant-read thermometer to make sure the internal temperature of the pork is at least 145 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step Six

Use tongs to remove the pork loin to a cutting board. Let it rest for 5 minutes then slice and serve.

Recipe Tips & Substitutions

  • If you don’t have smoked paprika, you can use sweet paprika instead. Or, just leave it out. You can also always use pre-made Italian seasoning instead of the seasonings I mentioned. This will save even more time.
  • This recipe is for a pork loin which is different from a pork tenderloin. A pork loin is a type of roast that is thicker than a pork tenderloin and requires a longer cooking time.
  • Note that his recipe calls for a 2 pound roast. A very large roast may not fit well into your air fryer depending on it’s size and the timing won’t be right.

FAQs

What temperature should you cook pork to?

The internal temperature of cooked pork roast should reach 145 degrees Fahrenheit while cooked ground pork is slightly higher at 160 degrees Fahrenheit. This will ensure the pork is not only safe to eat but juicy and delicious!

  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place the pork loin on a cutting board or a plate and pat it dry with paper towels.
